Jeimer Candelario comes through. The Tigers take a 4-3 lead in the 10th inning on his single through the hole in the infield.

Miguel Cabrera singles, moves up Victor Reyes. Runners on first and third with one out for Jeimer Candelario.

Extras you say?#DetroitRoots

Every so often, Isaac Paredes reminds you he was a SS for most of his way up Tigers system. He saved Gregory Soto after leadoff walk with diving snare of Buxton’s 111.9 mph grounder and throw from his knees for force out at 2B. Josh Donaldson’s ensuing DP sends game to extras.

Double play ends the ninth. Extra innings.

Huge defensive play by Ike Paredes, taking a hit from Buxton with a diving stop.

That’s what the Tigers want to see from Isaac Paredes. Gets the first out in the ninth inning. Tie game, 3-3.

Eight-game hitting streak for Isaac Paredes, by the way.

Josh Donaldson didn’t get the out at first but he deserves a web gem for that play. Ball took a high hop behind the bag at third. He caught it barehanded and nearly threw Paredes out at first.

Isaac Paredes is safe. But dang, Josh Donaldson.

This game is tied. Max Kepler smacks a homer against Buck Farmer in the bottom of the eighth.

Geez, Max Kepler went down and golfed a 2-2 slider from Buck Farmer over the wall in right field. 3-3

This is going to be another 0-for night for Candelario, but he’s walked twice and just had a 10-pitch at-bat with Tyler Clippard that ended with Buxton streaking into the LCF gap to run down his liner.

And now Sanó and Miggy are dancing at each other from across the diamond. Never a dull moment with Miggy on the field.

Miguel Sanó came a matter of feet away from giving the #MNTwins the lead with a towering shot off Joe Jiménez. The two have history.
Miguel Cabrera took great joy in playfully yelling “You’re out!” over and over at Sanó from the dugout rail after the ball was caught.
